Common Types of Fruit Pulpers

Single Stage Pulper

It is suitable for the separation of pulp and residue from most fruits, such as crushed and pre-cooked pome and berries.

Double Stage Pulper

Two-step ultra-fine pulping for increased pulp yield and improved product consistency. The first stage is coarse beating and the second is fine beating. The mesh of two screens can be selected according to the material requirements.

Destoner and Pulper Combination

It is suitable to design for fruits like mango and tomato that require automatic removal of seeds, core and skins prior to pulping. The pulp, residue and core, skin are automatically separated. It combines single stage fruit pulper and double stage fruit pulper, first step is to remove nucleus and peel, and the second step is to separate the pulp and residue.

Pulper and Crusher Integrated Machine

Suitable for tough or fibrous fruits, combining pre-crushing and pulping in one unit to improve processing efficiency. It is suitable for the separation of crushed or softened berry or pome pulp in large fruit juice and jam factories. Fruit Pulper Components

The fruit pulper is composed of a feeding inlet, crushing rotor, screen cylinder, pulp collection trough, residue outlet, transmission system, and control unit. After the fruit enters the pulp machine, the rotor performs high-speed shearing to break down the material, while the screen separates the pulp from the skins, seeds, and residues. The extracted pulp flows through the collection trough and is discharged to the next processing stage, such as homogenizing, heating, or cooling. Key components feature a quick-release structure, allowing fast handling of material blockages and facilitating routine cleaning and sanitation.

Fruit Pulper Operation and Safety Guide

Start-Up Procedure

Before powering on the fruit pulper, carefully inspect all rotating components to ensure that every connection is secure and reliable. Confirm that the motor rotation matches the direction indicated on the label. Check for any loose screws and verify that the door cover bolts are fully tightened. Once all parts of the fruit pulper are confirmed to be in good condition, start the fruit pulp machine and begin feeding the material for pulping.

Shutdown Procedure

After switching off the motor, release the main brake. Do not open the door cover while the rotor is still rotating. Only open the door by turning the handwheel counterclockwise once the rotor has come to a complete stop.

Lubrication

Regularly lubricate the bearings of the fruit pulp machine to ensure smooth operation and to extend their service life.

Cleaning and Maintenance

At the end of each shift, thoroughly clean and maintain the pulp machine to prevent leftover materials from fermenting inside. During cleaning, open the door, remove the filter frame, and then disassemble the rotor components for proper washing.
